France is opening a wine theme park (complete with a tipsy boat ride)
Wine-lovers, pack your bags and head to France.

Not just because they have the best Bordeaux, or to see the Eiffel Tower, but because finally, France is giving the world what itís so desperately been needing: a dedicated theme park celebrating the joy of wine. Disneyland might need to rethink that happiest place on earth tagline.

Opening this June, La Cité du Vin is a snazzy new theme park/museum mashup sitting in Bordeaux (obvs).

And yes, itís all wine, everything.

Its architecture has been designed to replicate the motion of wine swirling around a glass. Thereís a museum that takes you on a tour through wineís rich history and culture. Tasting sessions, wine workshops, and educational wine-themed sessions will all be on offer.

So itís essentially heaven.

The only slight downside is that there donít appear to be any rollercoasters or merry-go-rounds on the grounds, which may be a smart move considering visitors are all likely to be on the right side of tipsy.

There is, however, a boat ride that mimics a wine merchantís journey around the world. Maybe schedule that bit in for before all the wine-tasting.
